Making Batick styled artwork is fun and easy and mostly effective. We drew out designs on lightweight paper, and coloured them in heavily using wax crayons. The heartbreaking part is screwing up the artwork three times after they are done, which creates lots of lovely cracks in the crayon. Then we put a light wash of black paint over the painting which highlighted all the cracks!
