Using acrylics (and in one case watercolours) we painted the background with a sunset, moon rise or under the water, the silhouette was then painted over the top. Some used templates to get their animals in the right place, others went freehand and some combined the two. All completely different, which never ceases to amaze me.
At the end of the last day, we asked the children to pick their favourite art works from the day, and here is what they decided:
