To celebrate Halloween and use the blending techniques from last week, we made these dark moonscapes/sunsets and silhouetted owls, bats (and one cat) against the background. Eerie yellow eyes were stuck on the black marker critters which stood out beautifully against the acrylic background!

Shadows and Shading
Using pastels on black paper, this project taught the class about shadows and shading, depth and light. The photos sadly, don't do the drawings justice.
Three Dimensions
Our first project for term 4 was to look at shadows and shading again as well as complimentary and contrasting colours. The idea was to take three flat shapes and shade them to give them depth. Mission accomplished!
