Andy Warhol Portraits

This project was fun and a bit silly. We took pictures, had them edited a little in Photoshop and then added our own colour styles to each square in the style of Warhol.

Egyptian Papyrus Styled Paintings

Using brown paper instead of papyrus, and gauche paint, we copied some of the works of the ancient Egyptians and wrote our names in hieroglyphics. This project took a lot longer than I anticipated so sadly, not all of the students were able to finish in time.

Button Trees

For the one hour class we used small canvases, painted our trees and then glued 'button' leaves over the branches. The two hour class went into a bit more detail with their painting, and had a few extra buttons!
